Focus and Scope

The journal Lekovite Sirovine (tr. Medicinal Raw Materials) is dedicated to all areas of Medicinal Plants Research, Ethnopharmacology, Fitoterapia, Phytomedicine, Medicinal fungi, etc. It is a scientific journal with a long tradition, since 1951. The journal Lekovite Sirovine publishes original papers that have not been published previously. The journal Lekovite Sirovine publishes full-length research papers, reviews, and professional papers.  Lekovite Sirovine is a peer-reviewed open-access journal with no publication charges, costs, or fees for publication.

Contributions to the journal may be submitted in the English language.

The Journal is issued once a year, but online publication ahead of print will be available as soon as an article is accepted.

The journal Lekovite Sirovine is an academic journal deeply committed to the dissemination of scientific information and in this regard, it strives to meet the highest possible standards of publication ethics, whereas publication malpractice is strictly prohibited by all possible measures. Ethics and malpractice statements of the journal are based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and pertain to all parties involved in the publishing: the peer reviewer, the editor, and the author.
